All children, adolescents and young adults (21 years old and younger) seeking services will receive a Diagnostic Assessment provided by a licensed psychiatrist with expertise in evaluating and treating children, adolescents and young adults. This assessment will be strength based, noting areas of competency as well as challenges.
Because family can be a critical force in effecting and sustaining positive change within children and adolescents, the assessment also will include an in-depth look at family dynamics as they relate to presenting problem(s), determination of parental motivation for involvement in the various aspects of the treatment process, and an approach that ensures that a process allows for such involvement, whenever clinically appropriate.
Replace the light bulbs
Licensed clinicians will work in collaboration with consumers to meet life’s obligations by developing coping strategies and plans that are realistic and practical within the consumer’s lifestyle.
